Description
Timing is everything! Imbolc (February 1) is an ancient festival that has survived for centuries. This precursor of Valentine’s Day has been adopted by several spiritual traditions and also has become a secular holiday. It is the celebration of the first stirrings of life in the seeds that lay frozen since they were planted the previous Autumn as well as signifying the “quickening of the heart”, as our ancestors considered the heart the seed of the human organism.
